Strategy + Branding + Copy + Campaign Art Direction + Website + Social Media

Research and Concept: How does one identify aristocracy? A collection of certain elements evoke such an overwhelming emotional response that we are compelled to classify them as regal. We went about tracing these very elements which come together to indicate royalty. Insignias signify influence and power. Historically, eminent families wanted to be recognizable through their own insignia. Beautiful, yet formal communication collateral was attributed to royalty and intelligentsia. And the choice of colours was an equally important element. Most dynasties and empires have had their representation through their own unique marks and colour palettes.

The logo mark of Kishandas is inspired by a motif of ‘Jugni’, a special jewel piece of the Maharajas and Nizams (Aristocrats) of Hyderabad.

It has been reconstituted with clean symmetric marks to give a feeling of contemporary class. The idea for communication collateral is inspired from the royal vintage stationery. The typefaces for the brand are a balanced combination of classical sans serif and serif logotype. The colour palette is used to evoke a sense of modern royalty. It is silver and white on collateral, with a deep red patterned print inside the envelopes and jackets. Advertising campaign incorporates all the above components while emphasizing the classic bridal look from one of the most celebrated events in an Indian royal family.
